We’re used to seeing Lorde dressed slightly more androgynously, but she looks beautiful in classic Gucci florals on the cover of Vogue Australia‘s July issue.
Yep, the singer has landed the front page of the magazine’s July issue, which is dedicated to all things music-related. As well as the cover, an interview with Lorde will feature in the magazine, alongside profiles of other Australian musical talent like Sia and Daniel Johns.
In the teaser shots released by Vogue, Lorde’s appearance belies her age; in one image, she wears a Givenchy peacock feather-print dress and emerald jewellery – a look the star describes as “eccentric 70s old-money Californian” – looking way older than her 18 years.
It’s nice to see the magazine’s beauty and styling teams haven’t messed with Lorde’s natural look too much, though, with her trademark long, curly locks in all their glory rather than flattened out with straighteners (even though she can pull that look off too, obvs).
We love what we’ve seen so far and look forward to seeing the rest of the images once the magazine hits newsstands on 15 June.
