At the moment in women’s fashion, two style tribes are ruling the roost: 70s fangirls and people who, for some reason, are convinced the 90s was the best decade alive. Those in the latter camp may find it hard to justify one of SS16’s emerging, 90s-inspired beauty trends, though. Ladies, skinny eyebrows are back.

Given fashion’s ongoing love affair with the 90s, it was only a matter of time before brands’ 90s visions extended to beauty. The most extreme example of skinny eyebrows that we’ve seen for a long time (as in, we haven’t seen anyone look like this in real life for a good 10 years) was on show on the Ashley Williams catwalk. Are you feeling it?
After spending years ‘growing out’ our brows and spending tons of money on eyebrow gels, creams and powders, we can only hope that this trend doesn’t ever manifest in the real world. Fingers crossed…
