It’s finally here, Tyler, The Creator’s app, or as it’s officially known, GOLF MEDIA. This multi-media app is a platform with no restrictions for Tyler, and well known collective group OFWGKTA, to connect directly with their fans. Users of the app will have access to exclusive content such as new music, videos and more! Let’s take a look…
Once GOLF MEDIA is downloaded, new users are stopped by the requirement of a subscription fee of $5 /£3.99 a month. Leading up to the app’s release, Tyler dodged questions about how the app will financially work and wouldn’t give a straight answer as to whether it would require a subscription; and understandably so. A subscription fee carries a lot of negativity. However it seems Tyler has an answer for this as each new user receives 2 months free before your subscription officially begins allowing new users to have a chance to explore the app before you rush into anything. You also get a free copy of his new print magazine ‘Golf Magazine’ for signing up as well which can’t be bad!
Once you’ve entered your email address and 4 digit pin you come to a very speedy and responsive feed known as “Words“; GOLF’s version of the Facebook news feed. This is the users first point of action where any updates or news will appear.

Tyler made this app just for fans. It’s goes back to why he prints the word “GOLF” on clothes, because he likes the shape of the word. That attitude is found in this app; it’s on there because Tyler likes it and he knows his fans will like it too.
