The Pigeon Detectives released their second single ‘Lost’ this month which is taken from their third studio album ‘Up, Guards And At Em’!
The indie band from Leeds return with a catchy tune, which will without doubt receive good radio play but unfortunately there is nothing new or ‘stand-out’ about this latest offering.
The Pigeon Detectives have always been a likeable band, whom are known for their indie sound and energetic crowd-pleasing live performances. However by playing it ‘too safe’ with their latest single ‘Lost’, the boys from Leeds may struggle to gain the chart success of their previous first two albums’ singles (as has been the case with many ‘indie’ bands in the current music market).
Lost is standard good indie-pop and what is expected from the Pigeon Detectives. The band may not have evolved as much as some would have liked , but this track will however have their loyal fans happily dancing to their familiar format.
‘Lost’ was released on the 15th August and is now available to download.
