Turn Me On Again is a fun, summery pop tune all about the excitement and build up to getting a bit ‘down and dirty’. Full of flirting and cheekiness, you can almost picture Nerina giving you the wink, throwing her hair to one side and getting a bit of leg out for the lads. It’s almost like a diet coke advert in music form with Nerina giving some guy in a lift the eye followed by some heavy petting and a bit of ‘Hows Your Father’ over the office photocopier while it prints infinite copies of her bum on 115gsm A4 sheets.
In Nerina’s own words ‘It’s essentially a song about shagging, but specifically the bit before you’ve seen the goods and you’re in that flirty, chemistry soaked phase, The phase before you find out they still live with their Mum and/or have a wide and kids tucked away somewhere.‘
Let get things clear though, this isn’t anything x-rated. Nerina has definitely managed to capture the fun side to the chase and a produced a pop song you certainly won’t need to shield your children’s ears from. Turn Me On Again is a great tune to enjoy the last few months of the summer and get your inner wild child out to.
