Artist: Francesqa
Release: All I Had (Single)
The vast amount of music fans out there may liken to the likes of Francesqa, General Fiasco and All Time Low who create an indie and alternative sound with their upbeat tune. However what sets Francesqa apart is the sheer enthusiasm of this young British band.
“All I Had” is the new hit single and is bursting with raw energy and talent. Smashing into an authentic and catchy opening, the heavy drum beat is mighty powerful and gripping as it catches our attention and makes the listener curious as of what is to come! An exciting guitar riff then comes out of nowhere to compliment it beautifully. When the vocals cut into the track we are faced with an impressive performance which is powerful and striking not to mention rich in sincerity. The lyrics relay a clear message and many people will be able to identify with them, which all combined deliver a good track.
When the song progresses and the chorus kicks in, we see the band’s individual strengths really become visible. The almighty lead guitar, drums, base and rhythm manage to work together to achieve one hell of a chorus. Really rather catchy and captivating. A contributing factor that makes this a good song is that it isn’t a world away from Francesqa’s earlier days; their previous music still ever present in their new tracks. Which again retains familiarity and makes their ever growing fan base want to listen to what the band has to offer.
The verses and the bridge section in the song provide what is necessary in any song, purpose and strength as it helps carry the song. The first time I heard “All I Had” I was intrigued by the singer’s vocal capacity and his incredible range, the bridge section is almost out of reach, yet somehow he seems to nail it, which is very impressive and adds another dimension to this song.
Therefore, in conclusion, if you are keen on the sort of music that the likes of You Me At Six, All Time Low and Funeral Party have to offer and you like the consistency of good music then “All I Had” by Francesqa is sure to satisfy that intense alternative craving.
