Friction & Friends – Main Stage – 4/5

At 11:15 pm on the Friday evening, most of the festival goers hit the main stage to see Shogun Audio head honcho, Friction. The main stage was packed 15 minutes before the start of his set, starting his act with energy, and precise mixing.

With Linguistics supporting him as his MC, almost half  an hour into the set, he introduced to the stage, P Money. It has been a part of his act for almost a year after his collaboration with P on his smash hit ‘Kingpin‘. P Money put on a good show for about 15 minutes, playing his own hits such as ‘Slang Like This‘, getting the crowd warmed up for the next part of Friction’s show.

The next part of the show included a surprise act, as MC Eksman entered the stage! With fast lyrical ability, he really showed the fans his skill, and kept the tempo high! The show included more Drum & Bass from Friction keeping the energy still at a high, prepping the main stage for the next acts. The atmosphere was electric.

Andy C – Main Stage – 4/5

Andy C started just after Friction, which meant festival-goers had plenty of energy left for an hour long set from ‘The Executioner’. The driving Drum & Bass filled the arena with reverb and bass, that had the dance floor moving backwards and forwards. Dub-plate after dub-plate, anthem after anthem, Andy C really showed of his mixing ability, with double drops that sounded like he remixed the original tune! Andy C yet again failed to disappoint the fans!
