London Indie/Rockers, Wheels have bust into the HTF offices and decided to rummage through our CD piles and review them!!
How they got in I don’t know but there appears to be a crowbar and some sort of prehistoric fish lying out outside! Hmmmm!

Plain White T’s – Rhythm Of Love (Out Dec 5th)
Sounds a bit like Feist with James Blunt Singing. Magicial. It’s a happy, lovey, satisfied-with-itself, designed-to-make-young-girls-in-love-with-them load of commercial rubbish. Dead, compressed instruments that give of that summary Hawaiian feel and some guitars owing most of their soul to the Coral. Whole thing is just a little too forgettable as well. If you like The Thrills but cheesier with a touch of Jack Johnson, this is the Track for you.
Enter Shikari – Destabilise (Vinyl release Nov 29th)
Actually enjoyed this because it’s got so much fusion in it that it ends up being quite funny. The British version of Linkin Park? Metal guitars and drums mixed with rap (think Mike Skinner), seasoned with some emo screamo angst, infused with some hardcore dance synths and samples. End result is quite catchy. Good powerful chorus, some interesting musical interludes, lyrics more of the same but not terrible. The video is rubbish but again pretty funny, there’s some synchronized dancing towards the end. Think this knows where it is and has an invaluable entertainment aspect.
Kunt And The Gang – Use My Asshole As A Cunt (Currently a Campaign to get to Xmas number 1)
It’ll be better than whatever Xfactor has to offer
