Hacktivist have just unleashed their brand new single ‘Taken’ along with a music video, both of which feature a very special guest in the form of Enter Shikari‘s Rou Reynolds.
How did the Shikari vocalist end up on the new track, you ask? It comes from both bands’ time touring together in the past couple of years apparently, as both like to play around with the boundaries between genres. This has lead to the powerful new track from Hacktivist, which comes from their upcoming album Outside the Box.
Hacktivist and Enter Shikari have both just been announced as part of the line-up for Hevy Fest 2016, so perhaps an onstage collaboration will be on the cards over the weekend.

It’s not the first time Rou Reynolds has popped up as a guest vocalist – check out the Stray From the Path‘s track ‘Eavesdropper‘ below, which features a few lines from the Enter Shikari frontman.
