Good news, everyone! Canadian post hardcore heroes Alexisonfire have announced that they are officially reforming!
Rumors started flying after the band announced they would play together again for a series of worldwide festival spots earlier this year, but it was made official by the band themselves at Riot Fest Toronto.
Guitarist (and current Gallows frontman) Wade MacNeil spoke to the crowd – “Thank you for believing in this band when we couldn’t even believe in this band … Thank you for sticking with us. We promise to never leave you again. No more sentimental shit. Alexisonfire is officially back.”
The band initially called it quits back in 2011, before playing various ‘farewell’ shows throughout 2012.
