Following a number of threats made to Wale via Twitter, by a heckler, at Monday night’s (March 31st) WWE Monday Night RAW event, the D.C. rapper punched the man who had sent the tweets.
A TMZ source has stated that Wale, who was seated near the commentators, lashed out at the fellow attendee following the tweets. Although the source said he witnessed Wale punching the man, a recent video and tweets by him have since put doubt on the claims, and instead they purely pushed each other.
The confrontation was reportedly separated by security before it got out of hand and Wale returned to his seat. This won’t have been the first time Wale has been involved in a confrontation at a athletic event. February 2013 saw Wale confronting NBA commentators at a Washington Wizards game after they had started criticising the rapper.
