It’s not everyday you get to meet someone hailed as the ‘Godfather’ of their genre; never mind in their kitchen. Luckily for us the people upstairs were looking down on us and gave us the opportunity to speak to the legend himself, the ‘Godfather Of Grime’, Wiley. With his new album ‘The Ascent’ about to drop we travelled up from our seaside resort in Devon to his home in East London to chat the issues of the day all from the comfort of his kitchen work surface. We find out about the new album, chat Eastenders, Eskimo Dance, see wether he still dislikes universities and most importantly find out if he would try and retrieve stolen CD’s from Tempa T.
