After an exchange of heated Tweets this week between the talented Azealia Banks and Jim Jones (who?), it looks as though the outspoken Ms. Banks has gone a step further, and taken the feud to the recording studio with her latest track ‘Succubi‘.
The war of words that began on (yep you guessed it) Twitter, is believed to have started over the origins of the term “Vamping”, after Ms.Banks posted “VAMP: a very sexually/financially powerful woman who is usually characterized by a penchant for dark things; nighttime, witchcraft,” . Jim Jones then took offense to this (because he believes he is the man behind the term) and this later erupted into a full blown and rather juvenile Twitter war. This brings us to the present moment and Azealia’s new track ‘Succubi’.
