One half of legendary hip-hop duo OutKast has gone on record to disparage rumours of a new album from the group.
Big Boi has stated that although the pair will be putting in over 40 festival appearances, performing together for the first time in over 7 years and marking their 20th anniversary to boot, it will not be with new music in tow:
“We’re just doing the tour only, just for the fans. That’s all it is, just the tour … there’s no album in the works, no”
Despite this glum news, Big Boi has said he is working on an upcoming solo album. We’ll keep you posted.
