We caught up with the next best thing to happen to English music, PW. HTF spoke to PW about past, present and what he plans for the future!
HTF: PW! Thanks for spending sometime with HTF. First off how are you?
PW: I am very well, thanks. Thank you for having me.
HTF: So PW, where did it all start, where you from? What made you get into music?
PW: It all started in school, me and couple of my friends used to stand underneath the bike shed at lunch just mc’ing for the whole hour. I’m from North London a place called Edmonton to be precise. I got into music through my big cousin he used to have a group that I desperately wanted to be in. So I went away wrote my first 16 bar, showed him and he recruited me to his ‘crew’. Its been history ever since.
HTF: We like to give you a chance to express your talent to new readers at home. So could you name 3 of your own songs that’ll you like people to check out and tell us a little bit about each one?

HTF: New single “Here With You” is out. How’s things going with that?
PW: ‘Here With You‘ is honestly one of my favourite songs i’ve ever made, things are going really well with the song, It was actually ‘Record of the week‘ on BBC 1xtra so its still building and I’m sure its going have more positives soon. Plus its the first song i’ve had out in about 9 months and in that time i’ve been really trying to find myself, whats my purpose, my mission and my message. I took some time to travel and really see the world, whilst doing that I was always thinking and studying. I realised that I didn’t have a particular sound so I got in the studio and crafted it and now we have ‘Here with you‘.
HTF: So the EP FromPWithLove came out on Valentines day, did you know what else is celebrated on that day?
PW: No, Im guessing cupids birthday, If i’m wrong please enlighten me.
HTF: Well I can tell you, it’s also Nation Condom Day. Just a little fact for you. Have you got a cool fact for us and then readers?
PW: Yes, I have a pretty cool fact. Its a fact that if you don’t wear a condom during sexual intercourse especially on ‘National Condom Day’ you will have a baby.
HTF: Aha! Great fact! So the EP, how have you found the response to the EP?
PW: The response for the EP has been exceptional from all the support from all the blogs and again with the really good response from people about ‘Here With You‘ which i’m really happy with.
HTF: So, PW! We celebrated FromPWithLove on National Condom Day and we had fun with that, can you tell us what’s now in store for your fans?
PW: The next thing I have in store is my next project ‘From LDN with LVE‘ just like ‘From PW with love‘ I feel like i owe my fans with this project I feel I owe them the chance to get to know me a lot more. Give them a insight to my life, what i’ve been through and where i’ve come from.
HTF: Festival Season around the corner, are you playing anywhere this year?
PW: Not that I know of but fingers crossed I will be performing at one, if not I will definitely try and get down there to support my peers.
HTF: Now, we know you’re a ladies man. Other men like myself are jealous of your rare ability of being a hit with the ladies. So, our head editor Chris Hines was on Take Me Out earlier this year and we were wondering what would a lady killer like yourself would have playing when coming down the lift?
PW: I would probably have ‘Shaggy – Bombastic‘ playing whilst I slowly walk down each step with all my buttons un-done so the ladies can see my bulging chest and 12 pack while I walk by them caressing all their face’s, then I’ll shimmy left to right to where I have to stand.
