Eminem has set a new Guinness World Record with his single “Rap God,” according to Billboard. The track from his latest album, The Marshall Mathers LP 2, is being commended for having the most words in a single song, with 1,560 words in six minutes and four seconds. One verse in particular had everyone who tried to imitate the style conpletely tongue-tied.
Eminem is no stranger to breaking records. He can now add this one to his already long list of accomplishments. Here are just a few:
- Highest-selling artist of the past decade
- The most popular artist on Facebook (beating out Michael Jackson and Lady Gaga)
- First artist to receive two Digital Diamond Awards
- His 2010 album Recovery, made history by earning over one million digital purchases, 5.7 copies to be exact.
The latest installment of the Guinness Book of World Records is expected to be released next week.
