Thanks to longtime Aftermath producer Dawaun Parker the secret of Dr Dre’s album ‘Detox’ has been revealed. Whilst on Shots Fired Dawuan Parker spoke to the hosts about Dr Dre’s next project and it not being the mythical album ‘Detox’. Instead Dre is set to follow his Hip Hop classic ‘Chronic 2001’ with a completely different approach and style to Detox. The decision to scrap the album was made years ago despite the bangers that are meant to be in the Detox archive.
To Hip-Hop fans this news is like finding out Santa Clause is not real. However unlike Santa we can still hope that maybe one day Dre will wake up and release the almighty Detox. Watch the full clip below.
