West coast Hip-Hop legend and Dogg Pound memeber Daz Dilly (formerly Daz Dillinger) sounds fresher than ever on the Drummaboy produced “Love 2 Hate“. This is far from one of those songs we’re all familiar with, where a past favourite tries to “get down with the kids” and ends up leaving everyone feeling embarrassed. Nope, “Love 2 Hate” is a throughly west coast jam with the high strings, and wet snares, and Daz sounds empowered and as sharp as ever. He delivers a chorus that doesn’t try to fit in with today’s sound, but also isn’t some lame throwback. Daz has managed to stay this sharp by never really going away. He’s dropped some form of project almost every year since 2002, and if this song is anything to go by, there’s still alot more for him to say.
The track is taken from his 15th (yes you read it right) studio album “Weed Money“
