While we waited for the long overdue joint project with Chance The Rapper, Childish Gambino was getting ready to do his own thing and drop off a new DJ Drama and Gangsta Grillz-hosted mixtape titled STN MTN / KAUAI.
Now whats does the title mean? Some say that “S T N M T N” is short for “Stone Mountain”, which is a location near the Atlanta area. What’s rather interesting though is that Gambino just dropped off a track over the weekend called “Candlers Road”, which too is a physical location near Atlanta, and only a few miles away from Stone Mountain.
At the bottom of the artwork however, there’s another title, “Kauai”, which could be the second tape or Glover’s next short film featuring Jaden Smith as “The Boy”.
