A$AP Illz from hip-hop collective A$AP Mob modelling for DKNY wasn’t just a one-off. Illz is featured along with stars Rita Ora, Angel Haze and Juliana Huxtable in the DKNY fall 2014 ad campaign. The “Real New Yorkers” (sans Rita Ora) theme has been continued by the label and have chosen many of the faces to appear in the advertisement from the show.
Illz explained in February that the DKNY opportunity came about “very organically” and that he wasn’t initially casted for the show. He said, “I went straight to the fitting, they liked what they put on me, I walked for them, And they wanted me there as much as I wanted to be there.”
