Danish metal band Volbeat are set to released their upcoming album ‘Outlaw Gentlemen & Shady Ladies’ on 8th April 2013. As well as this, they have announced that former Anthrax and The Damned Things guitarist Rob Caggiano has officially joined the band. Caggiano helped to produce the upcoming album.
Singer and guitarist Michael Poulsen explains “we are very excited about this album. We feel that we’ve achieved the goals we set out. The heavy stuff on the album is perhaps more old school heavy riffs than earlier, and the rock songs rock out without losing the Volbeat sound that is the cornerstone of our band.”
Volbeat’s previous album ‘Beyond Hell / Above Heaven’ saw incredible success, selling more than 750,000 copies across the globe and has gone 2x platinum in their home country of Denmark.
