While She Sleeps are a five piece metal band hailing from Sheffield. They have exploded in the last twelve months after the release of their debut EP ‘The North Stands For Nothing’. From touring with huge bands such as Bring Me The Horizon and Silverstein, and also having a spot on this year’s Kerrang! tour, the only way is up for these rockers.

HTF caught up with the band at this year’s Slam Dunk Festival in Hatfield last weekend. We chatted to drummer Adam Savage and bassist Aaran McKenzie about their new album that is due for release in August, the meaning behind its name ‘This Is The Six’ and how they felt when they were recently played on Fearne Cotton‘s show on BBC Radio 1.

So much has changed for the band in the last twelve months since they played Slam Dunk Festival South last year so HTF were keen for a catch up with them!
