Finally I got to interview one of the most influential metal bands of the current moment, Suicide Silence. Hailing from California these guys instantly turned some heads when they arrived what with their overwhelmingly hectic guitar riffs and damn right frightning vocals from leading man Mitch Lucker.
After there earth shattering set list at half 11 in the morning (what a way to wake up) in the pouring rain on the Sunday of this years Download Festival, HTF were keen to chat with the band. We spoke to the leading man himself, Mitch, about how he felt the crowd reacted to them that day compared to when they played Download back in 2009. We also chat about Mitch’s little girl and what we should expect from Suicide Silence in the upcoming months, including their brand new album ‘The Black Crown‘.
