Queensrÿche Return With New Self-titled Album

The record, which will be the quintet’s first release with new vocalist Todd La Torre, is set for release on Monday, June 24!

Seattle rock quintet Queensrÿche will release their self-titled album with new vocalist Todd La Torre on Monday, June 24, via Century Media.

Queensrÿche’ was mixed and mastered by famed producer James ‘Jimbo’ Barton, who also worked on the band’s classics ‘Operation: Mindcrime’ and ‘Empire’.

Speaking about the record, drummer Scott Rockenfield said: “The collaborative effort of everyone on this album is something we are extremely proud of.

Working with Jimbo and the addition of Todd has revitalized the band in ways we never knew until we heard the final results.

He added: “We know you have to wait a little longer but are excited for all of our fans to hear it. Queensrÿche wouldn’t be in this position if not for your unwavering support.

The band gave fans a taster of their new material in March with the release of new single ‘Redemption’, which has already received over 160,000 views on YouTube.

The album cover was designed by Craig Howell, who has worked on designs for Star Wars, Slipknot and American Idol.
