If you were to list hard rock bands least likely to embrace 21st century technology, I think somewhere near the top of most people’s list would be Motorhead.
However after 35 years of being a constant force in the ‘rock n roll genre’, the trio are to release the “Motorhead Remixer” app.
The Remixer allows you to remix all of the bands most iconic tracks, including “Ace of Spades” and “Overkill” all from your mobile. Once you’ve recorded your mix you can then share your take on the timeless classics with your friends on Facebook.
Motorhead have released a collective statement on the product claiming that the app “Puts the power of the studio producer in the hands of our fans” and gives “another dimension added to the Motorhead arsenal”.
The Motorhead Remixer will be available for iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch. You can see a video of the app in action at www.remixmotorhead.com .

There will no doubt be those who are dead against the concept of the Motorhead app from some kind of moral standing point. However even the most hard faced, purist metal fan, would have to admit that despite their reservations, this does look like bloody good fun!
