London based progressive/tech metal band Monuments are set to release their first album with new singer Matt Rose on August 27th 2012 which is entitled ‘Gnosis’. The band are currently streaming the first track from the album ‘Doxa’ and to the left is a picture of the album artwork which has also recently been released.
Within their short life span the quintet have already toured the UK and Europe twice as support to bands such as Periphery, Wings of Plague and Tesseract. Their first confirmed show in the UK with Matt is on 11th July at the Camden Barfly- but the band are currently planning an extensive UK tour planned for Autumn.
John Browne (guitarist) says: “we have found the the perfect guy right here in our own back yard, and we couldn’t be happier with the work Matt has done so far” when talking of Matt joining the band. But don’t take his word for it, take a listen to the track right here:
