Black metal veterans Mayhem have announced they will embark on a European tour to celebrate their 30th anniversary. The tour which begins in May has only one UK date which will be at the Electric Ballroom in London on May 21.
Since founding the band in 1984 the Norwegians have been surrounded by controversy. Known for their violent live performances, the quartet have been linked to numerous Norwegian church burning’s and incidents of violence.
Now the forefathers of the black metal scene are set to release their seventh studio album, entitled, ‘Esoteric Warfare,’ which is due out on May 23 and is available for pre-order now from Season of Mist.
