I know I’m jeopardising my incredibly slick reputation here by admitting that my favourite music comes from the 70s and 80s.. and not necessarily the ‘cool’ bands either. I like cheesy ballads and pop – I’m talking mega cheesy. But I know that there are a lot of you out there who like this music too – whether you admit it or not. Where I come from, there is a radio station called Yorkshire Coast Radio, and I credit/blame them for my love of this music – especially their late night show ‘The Wind Down Zone’ where I frequently ‘wind down’ to the soothing tones of 80s power ballads.
So, I’ve come to the logical decision of compiling a Spotify playlist full of my favourite 80s (and some 70s and one from 1990..which is basically the 80s) songs for your pleasure — albeit it a guilty pleasure. I hope you like it!
P.S. I have no idea why it says ‘sex’ on my playlist.. but I don’t know how to change it.
