After victory at this year’s Red Bull Bedroom Jam 2012, champions I Divide took to the studios to record their latest EP ‘A New Assignment’. You can get a copy of the EP with the latest issue of Rock Sound magazine currently in the shops!
The EP took two weeks to put together and saw the band worked with Ben Humphreys and John Mitchell who are the producing legends behind tracks from You Me At Six, Lower Than Atlantis and Architects. The band began their Red Bull Bedroom Jam journey in January this year where they uploaded their music video to the site where they shot to the top of the ‘buzz chart’ which gave the the chance to film a live show from their bedroom. The band were then picked to join the festival tour where they played at Download, Hevy and Slam Dunk festivals this year. After such a successful run on the festivals they were hand picked by the judges to join two other bands in the live final where they were chosen by the public as the champions!
You can catch the band out on tour next year as support to Funeral For A Friend. It will be on hell of a show so make sure you get yourself down!
