HTF were lucky enough to pop down to an exclusive shoot of the new Paige video recently in a top secret location in Plymouth. We sent out photographer Andrew down to the shoot to take some exclusive shots of the video in action!
Lead singer and bassist Lewis White wrote a mini diary of the day and we have that exclusive for you here below:
‘We travelled down the Plymouth the night before and couldn’t wait to start filming with Dan Broadley. When we woke the weather wasn’t looking amazing and we feared that the shoot may have to change location or be cancelled.
We spent most of the morning running around Plymouth town centre looking for fishing line to tie the balloons to and dust sheets to cover our gear incase it rained. Luckily the weather picked up and we were able to film at our first choice location which was a farm on the outskirts of Plymouth. As soon as we saw the location Dan had picked out for us we loved it and it looked very similar to the ‘Young Summer‘ EP cover and we thought this would tie in well with the track.
We didnt start filming the video until around 6pm and admittedly I didn’t think we’d have enough time to get everything done, however, we ploughed through various shots and managed to do some story shots in time for a final band performance in front of the sunset.
We didn’t make an exact story for the video, just enough footage for the viewer to make up there own conclusion to what is actually going on along with some performance shots of the band. It was a great day and we all loved our first time in Plymouth. We cant wait to go back soon and hopefully play some shows down that way; the video should be online within a few weeks and also on various music channels so keep your eyes peeled – www.facebook.com/paigeofficial‘ – Lewis White
