After flood warnings, torrential rain and mud slides, let’s face it, this festival season has been absolute pants. But fear not festival goers as Hevy Festival has just announced they will be putting up a roof! That’s right, this years’ Hevy is under a canopy, so no more muddy pits!
Hevy Festival organisers say: “In true British style, the weather has been a little, err… shall we say temperamental recently and whilst we can’t control the climate, we have been working on a plan to make sure it doesn’t affect the most important weekend this summer….
Using production wizardry and festival witchcraft, we’ve put a roof over every stage for this year’s Hevy Festival! Here’s the science – we’ve merged our 4 existing stages into 3, with 2 alternating Main Stages under one roof (which means there are now NO TIME CLASHES for all major bands) and our Red Bull Bedroom Jam Stage boasting it’s own tent. All this without compromising set times!”
Hevy will be held on August 3rd until the 6th at Port Lympne, Kent. We don’t know about you guys, but HTF are itching to see this!
