Five Finger Death Punch have released a new cinematic video for their track ‘House of the Rising Sun’, a folk song that English rock group The Animals took to a number one hit in 1964.
The video for the track, which was part of their latest album The Wrong Side Of Heaven And The Righteous Side Of Hell Vol 2, was co-directed by the band’s guitarist Zoltan Bathory and Brian Neal and was in conjunction with Thought Pirates Films.
The band released a trailer in the week before the unveiling of the full video and stated that the video was ‘an experiment’ that was an ‘initial step toward something we always wanted to do’ which was to create a ‘full length movie’.
Filmed in the band’s home state of Nevada, the video involves ‘two helicopters, two gyrocopters, twenty something crazy cars, a big cast and an arsenal of cameras’.
