Empress have announced plans for their single ‘Perplexed Again’ which is due for release on 26th November and has been taken from their as yet untitled debut album due out next spring. The bands single is due out just before they head out on tour. ‘Perplexed Again’ is a live fan favourite full of ferocious riffs, thrashy beats and collossal screams.
When asked about their single front man Ollie Loring said “When we wrote the song it was at a time when a lot of my friends were moving away and onto the next stage in their lives, and as happy as I was for them, it made me feel like I was stuck in a rut and not moving anywhere with mine.”
Rock Sound have said of the band “they’ve hit upon one hell of a winning formula” and Metal Hammer have said “there’s more to come, and it’s impressively ambitious”.
Following a string of sold out shows with Baroness and packing out the Camden Barfly for their first ever headline show the band have announced a string of dates in November.
