The UK based independent label A Wolf At Your Doors Records – the label responsible for the breakthrough albums from some of the best underground bands going from the likes of Deaf Havana and Lower Than Atlantis, and the current place of names like Mallory Knox and Hildamay – have proudly revealed the latest addition to the bands currently signed to their basically awesome roster: Brighton’s very own Eager Teeth.
Here’s a bit of biography about the band – formed just over 18 months ago from the ashes of Telegraphs, Chaos Days and Epitaph Records’ This City, Eager Teeth were quick to uncover a unique blend of musical chemistry, born from a collective inspirations of punk, post-hardcore and alt-indie of yesteryear. Armed to the teeth with years of combined experience on tour and in the rehearsal room, the quintet waste no time in assembling an arsenal of songs – that are nothing short of kick ass – and hitting the road. And after just a handful of shows, their distinct take on anthemic alt-rock, and off-kilter video for debut single ‘Lights Out’ had gained them a groundswell buzz and the considerable affections of A Wolf At Your Door Records.
Eager Teeth have spent summer 2012 in the studio with emerging producer pair Thomas Mitchener and Steve Sears (Gallows, Spycatcher) tracking their self-titled debut album, which has been set for a February 2013 release.
To mark the beginning of the Eager Teeth story, the track ‘Exorcise Bike’ has been made available for Free download (yes, FREE DOWNLOAD!) at the band’s Bandcamp page: eagerteeth.bandcamp.com
