Charli XCX is hard at work compiling songs for her new album, and with some help from big names…she’s sure to make a statement. Her first album, True Romance was released in 2013, but now Charli is channeling a different vibe for her follow up.
She describes her new record being “much more live”.
The new album (no word on a title) will feature collaborations with Rivers Cuomo of Weezer, and Rostam Batmanglik of Vampire Weekend. Charlie debuted her new single ‘Breaking Up’ this year at SXSW in Austin, TX, giving fans a preview of what’s to come.
The album is expected to drop sometime this year via Asylum/Atlantic.
