After running a kickstarter campaign to fund the release of their new album, TLC have managed to smash their original goal of $150,000 and raise over three times as much!
Raising $430,225 in total, it seems that the people of the world are hungry for new TLC material with 4,201 people helping to back the campaign.
Katy Perry even chipped in $5,000 with T-Boz describing this generous act as “awesome”.
The band have promised the album will stay true to the TLC sound and they have already confirmed a tour this summer with New Kids On The Block and Nelly.
