Taylor Swift is swapping her microphone for the big screen.
The American singer has been cast for the film adaptation of Lois Lowry’s children novel ‘The Giver’, where she will star alongside Meryl Streep, Jeff Bridges and Brenton Thwaites.
Author Lois Lowry tweeted the details: “Taylor Swift will play Rosemary, a small but vital and intriguing role, in THE GIVER movie”.
Taylor has acted before in 2010 film ‘Valentine’s Days’, as well as having TV appearances in ‘CSI’ and ‘New Girl’.
