Let’s be fair now, who else is really killing it like our very own Taylor ‘T-Swizzle’ Swift right now? Gaga has just gone a bit well, “gaga” and hasn’t released a good tune in a while, Katy Perry, as much as I 100% love her, she doesn’t seem to have the big tunes at the moment like she did before and really, who else is in the running? Yes Ariana Grande is awesome, and has an amazing, amazing voice, but T-Swizzle is just killing it on so many levels right now.
Firstly, the new album. GOD DAMN! This is pretty much one of the best pop albums I have heard in a long time. The fact that ‘Shake It Off’, to me personally, is one of weakest on the album just sums it up; and that track is still an absolute banger. She has bought a whole new pop sound and the people are lapping it up like the hippos of hungry hungry hippos. ‘Blank Space’ was obviously the best thing since the invention of the sandwich toaster and, the best thing yet, there are still more singles to be released from the album. We could be dancing in a shit night-club to ‘Style’ at any time!
Aside from the album she then goes and does ultra-cool things like having an album listening party for fans at her own home (yes her actual house. We are not talking X-Factor judges house style here) and even bakes everyone cookies. Also, this christmas she sent packages of presents to fans and even took the trip to go and see some of them. MERRY SWIFTMAS INDEED!
She’s even gone and took on Spotify because she thinks they aren’t giving enough back. Anyone else thinking T-Swizzle for president right now? And just when you thought Katy might have the advantage because she loves cats, Taylor goes all out and ALSO LOVES CATS!
