Directioners, get excited! As any hardcore fan will probably already know, the One Direction boys recently made a live appearance at this years BBC Radio 1’s Big Weekend in Glasgow. For those of you not familiar with the event, it’s basically one of the highlights of the years pop calendar where some of music’s biggest stars come together for three whole days of live music to blow your socks off. Artists that appeared this year included the mighty Coldplay, Calvin Harris, Lily Allen, Ed Sheeran, Pharrell Williams, superstar DJ Tiesto, Zane Lowe, Martin Garrix, Rita Ora, The 1975, the incredibly sexy Katy Perry and a whole bunch more. So, as you can tell, this is one hot event!
The BBC have been lovely enough to provide us with a live performance from the One Direction boys performing their track ‘You & I’ from their ‘Midnight Memories’ album, released last year. The boys opened the Saturday main stage at the event as it’s lucky they had a huge P.A system or I’m pretty sure the sound of screaming girls would have probably made them inaudible. You One Direction fans sure have some lungs on you!
