Rihanna‘s court case against Topshop selling a specific image of her has been going on for a while and she’s just won a permanent injunction preventing Topshop from using the image at all. As well as this, she is now also seeking an estimated £919.000 settlement in legal bills which the judge in this case has described as a “startling” amount of money.
Topshop claim to have bought the license for image off the photographer who took it on the set of her We Found Love music video. The court however ruled that is could be seen as “an act of passing off” and therefore can’t be sold. Let us know what you think below!
