They are the biggest thing in pop, a total global phenomenon, their pictures are on the walls of 98% of the planets schoolgirls and now they are on the Big Screen. Yes it’s One Direction. Next week sees the release of their first film This Is Us. It’s a huge 3D concert movie of the band directed by Super Size Me’s Morgan Spurlock and produced by the brains behind the whole thing, music mogul Simon Cowell.
The boys have announced though that they will not be entering the acting world. Everything you see on screen is 100% real, 100% them, 100% One Direction
Band member Zayn Malik had this to say –
“It wasn’t really an acting thing. it just followed us around day to day. We didn’t think that we were acting when we were doing it. We’re not thinking about acting anytime soon”.
