Before my love of Urban music took over my life and I became a hoodie wearing, cheap fried chicken eating, hip hop bopping, grime mc impersonating gangster, I used to hold a brush and sing in the mirror pretending to be part of Backstreet Boys, Take That, New Kids On The Block, Boyzone and even more embarrisingly forming the Spice Boys!
Now that my long kept secret is in the public domain and a weight has been taken off my shoulders, you could only imagine the joy when I found out that New Kids On The Block and Backstreet Boys had formed to create a supergroup ‘NKOTBSB’ (I would have liked Back Street Boys On The Block).
Not only have they released an album, BUT they have confirmed a UK tour, yes, a UK TOUR. With over 200 million albums sold between both bands, and smash hit after smash hit, including Backstreet Boys’ ‘I Want It that Way’ and New Kids On The Block’s ‘Hangin’ Tough,’ these two pop sensations are bringing back the coolness that was my younger years.
Expect retro nostalgia and a back catalogue of worldwide smash hits mixed with a modern twist, when two of the world’s biggest boybands return next year to be reunited in concert with their UK fans.
