Up and coming British girl band Neon Jungle have announced that their second single, ‘Braveheart‘, will be released on 19 January 2014.
They also recently performed at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show in New York alongside Taylor Swift and Fall Out Boy, which will be aired on television next month. Last years show garnered a US domestic audience of over 10 million viewers, and was broadcast in 180 countries around the world.
Their debut single, ‘Trouble’, was released earlier on in the year, and peaked at number four on the Scottish Singles Chart and number 12 on the UK Singles Chart. They also supported Jessie J for the Birmingham and Sheffield dates on her recent Alive Tour.
‘Braveheart’ combines elects of pop and dance with a catchy hook. Speaking about the song, Neon Jungle revealed the message behind it:
“It’s about letting go and having a good time. We experience a lot of different emotions performing and listening to the song. Having it loud pumping through speakers it’s just like a rave every time it plays.”
The four-piece are comprised of Jess, Amira, Asami and Shereen, and are aged 16-21.
