Lawson revealed their plans today for ‘The Hometown Tour’, which will see the band travel the country in October and November, to play intimate gigs at the individual cities where they grew up. They will perform in Liverpool, Sheffield, Brighton and Nottingham, before ending the tour with their biggest ever headline show to date at London’s KOKO on November 6th.
Guitarist Joel Peat said: “We’re all so excited to release our debut album, we’ve been building up to it for the past 4 years so doing shows in our Home Towns feels like the perfect way to celebrate. Performing live is what we love the most so to be able to play our biggest venues to date in the Cities where we grew up is very special.”
Lawson have had a very busy summer, performing at some very popular festivals including: T4 On The Beach, Hard Rock Calling, BT London Live, T In The Park and V Festival, as well as their second single ‘Taking Over Me’ reaching number three in the UK charts.
