Justin Bieber has embarked on a trip to the Philippines to help boost morale to the typhoon survivors.
The country was recently hit by Typhoon Haiyan, which resulted in over 5,500 lives lost and countless homes destroyed.
The singer visited the county’s disaster zone today (Tuesday 10th December) to sing for the locals.
A UNICEF spokeswoman said that the Canadian performed Christmas carols at a school including ‘Holy Night’.
Photos emerged of the singer performing on a make shift stage in front of fans and playing basketball with locals. Meanwhile he was also performing the last date of his world tour in the country.
Bieber recently launched an online fundraising campaign for the typhoon disaster, which saw fans donate over $620,000 in a matter of days. Those who donate are automatically entered into a prize draw to win a studio hang-out with the singer.
