Janet Devlin performed at Children In Crossfire ‘Culture of Compassion’ event this afternoon in Londonderry.
The singer performed her rendition of Elton John’s classic hit ‘Your Song’ and you can watch it below around the 3:15 mark.
Janet who came fifth in the 2011 series of The X Factor tweeted after the event: “What an absolute honour to meet his holiness the Dalai Lama today! In shock”.
Janet is also set to play a number of festivals this summer including Secret Garden Party, Cambridge Folk Festival and Victorious Festival. She will then embark on her own 16-date headline tour across the UK and Ireland in September.
