Ed Sheeran has promised his new album will be released within the “next few months”.
The ‘A Team‘ singer revealed the news to Billboard at the recent Grammy Awards. He also stated that he had recorded it “three different times with three different people” – Rick Rubin, Jake Gosling and Pharrell Williams.
However, despite working alongside a variety of producers with this second album, he said: “There’s a thread that goes through the whole thing so it’s kind of the same [as his debut album].“
Ed also hinted that the album may be titled ‘=’ although that is yet to be confirmed.
