The female empowerment initiative Chime For Change has launched an all new storytelling platform through sharing films that tell the stories of courageous women around the world. The latest venture will be part 2 of the foundations action plan, as it follows the star-packed concert held at Twichenham Stadium last month.
Founded by Beyoncé Knowles, Salma Hayek and Gucci’s Frida Giannini, to mark the launch of the platform the charity has released four short films – all of which were curated by Hayek and premiered during the concert.
Speaking out about the films she said:“We will shine a spotlight on those who are fighting for education, health and justice for girls and women by sharing stories about real people who are speaking out and rising up to change the course of history. These films tell intimate, personal stories – but these stories represent universal themes. And now we can all play a part by turning inspiration into action.”
