Emily Ratajkowski – model and accomplice to both Robin Thicke’s infamous ‘Blurred Lines’ video, as well as the unrated version – has secured a modelling slot with Rag & Bone, on 1 condition – she must wear clothes, any clothes so long as they’re a Rag & Bone creation.
As part of their DIY Project to promote the brand, Emily will be following the footsteps of stars such as Lily Aldridge, Miranda Kerr, Candice Swanepoel, Erin O’Connor, and Karolina Kurkova to create a campaign ad. Emily was given a bag of their clothes and a camera from which she is asked to shoot the campaign however she chose.
“As a model and actress, Emily takes on roles and is given direction, but the beauty of the DIY Project is that the girl has free reign to do whatever she wants,” one half of the Rag & Bone duo Marc Wainwright said. “So it was an opportunity for her to show how she sees herself.”
Reflecting upon the experience, Emily revealed, “It’s an exciting and crazy transition time and I wanted to capture that by shooting basically in my empty apartment and around the city – it’s a fresh start.”
However, just as we start to get used to this modest appearance, Emily proves a leopard rarely changes their spots and poses cheekily in a half buttoned up shirt seductively revealing her washboard stomach. Jealous…? Without a doubt!
