54-year-old American singer Belinda Carlisle is back with her forthcoming album ‘Icon’ – a collection of her greatest hits from the 1980s along with the new single ‘Sun‘. The former frontwoman of The Go-Go‘s will be releasing the single and album on March 19th. She made history with the band after they became the first all-female group to play their own instruments, write their own songs and reach number one in the charts. The ‘Heaven is a Place on Earth‘ singer revealed that the band would be reforming this summer. “I think The Go-Go’s are more about being moments for people than the actual songs. It’s an era.” said Belinda.
